For the purposes of arranging and maintaining your insurance, we are acting as your agent. We act as agents of the insurer in collecting premiums and handling premium refunds. This means that premiums are treated as being received by the insurer when received by us and that any premium refund is treated as received by you when it is actually paid over to you. This is known as ‘risk transfer’. While it is in our bank’s trust account, your money cannot be used for any purpose other than paying the insurers or any brokers through whom we may have arranged your insurance, or in the case or premium refunds, returning the money to you. Any interest earned on the account is retained by us.
Insure OK offer products suitable for the demands and needs of someone who wishes to insure their private motor vehicle for a period of 12 months at the most competitive price available to us. Please read your policy documentation to ensure that the cover provided is suitable for your requirements. 


Insure OK offer products on behalf of a single insurer, Markerstudy Insurance Company Limited and other optional add-ons products from single insurers including, windscreen replacement, vehicle breakdown, excess protection and key replacement cover. Details of all insurers used can be provided on request. Our Bronze Accident Management Service is provided with all motor policies and can be upgraded to our Platinum Accident Management Service. Accident Management Services are offered from a single provider and are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority nor covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service, nor the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

You will not receive advice or a recommendation from us. We may ask some questions to narrow down the selection of products that we will provide details on. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed. We will provide a quote based on the most competitively priced policy available from the insurer.  


You must show these Terms of Business to any driver named on the policy. Anyone who drives your vehicle must be aware that the movements of the vehicle will be tracked By asking us to provide a quote, arrange a policy and perform other ancillary services you are providing your informed consent to be bound by these Terms of Business, our Telematics Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.  


Our policies require the installation of a telematics box that will monitor your driving – this must be fitted within 14 DAYS of the cover commencing otherwise the policy will be cancelled. Full details of this can be found in ourTelematics Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.  


Insure OK will communicate with you in most instances via email using the email address you provide. It is therefore essential that you have reliable access to this email address and check it regularly. We will also provide all of your documentation in digital and downloadable format within a secure customer portal which ensures your insurance documents are safe and accessible at all times.

You must provide us with honest and accurate information to the questions we ask and inform us of any changes to the information previously supplied. If you withhold information or answer questions dishonestly you may have your cover reduced, be charged a higher premium, have your policy cancelled or voided and any claims may not be paid. 


Our non-refundable professional charges are as follows – all of these are separate and in addition to any change in the insurance premium, insurer charges or finance provider charge:
Professional Arrangement Fee £35 plus up to 20% of the insurer's premium.

You have the right to cancel your policy at any time by calling us on 01527 758 045. Cancellation fees and costs apply whether the policy is cancelled by you or us, regardless of reason. If there has been ANY claim, the full premium will be payable with no refund due. Refunds of less than £10 will be retained by us due to the administrative cost of returning these. Cancelling your instalment plan DOES NOT cancel your policy, and any payments that have been made are unlikely to cover costs in the event of cancellation. Any remaining balance can be paid in one amount or you must continue with the instalments until it is cleared. We will withhold proof of any No Claims Bonus until the balance is paid. If the policy is cancelled before cover commences or within the first 14 days, you will be charged a pro-rata amount for the cover you have had in addition to any applicable FEES AND CHARGES noted above. You will be refunded in full for any additional add-ons cancelled at the same time provided no claim has been made.

If the policy is cancelled outside of the first 14 days you will be refunded your premium on a pro-rata basis in addition to any applicable FEES AND CHARGES. In the event of a cancellation we will also retain the commission paid to us for arranging your insurance, this will be equal to 10% of any refunded premium. Any additional products are non-refundable after the first 14 days.


You may choose to pay for your insurance in full at the time of purchase or we may be able to offer you finance for the premium allowing you to pay this monthly via direct debit. Insure OK act as a credit broker and use Premium Credit Limited exclusively as the lender to provide credit facilities. Credit is subject to status and credit searches. If your application for finance is declined the full premium will become payable immediately. If your policy renews at the end of the policy period a new credit check will be run to assess your suitability for finance prior to your renewal date. You may contact us to cancel your credit agreement without penalty within the first 14 days, but the insurance premium will become immediately payable in full. We will receive a commission from Premium Credit for referring you to them – details are available upon request. If we cannot add the costs of any policy amendments or additional premiums to your instalment plan these must be paid at the time of the change. If your policy is cancelled, any outstanding balance will be owed to Fresh, rather than Premium Credit Ltd.


We may make a payment to any referring broker if you take a policy out with us. This will not affect your premium. Details are available upon request.


We will notify you in writing in good time before the renewal date to provide you with a renewal quote. Your Driving Score for the previous year will be used in pricing your renewal quote. We will review the premium with your existing insurer and the price will be based on the information that we hold so if anything has changed please let us know.

No claims bonus is applied as a percentage discount to your insurance premium. In protecting your no claims bonus you are protecting this percentage discount, not the overall price of the policy. Should you make a claim against your policy whilst no claims protection is in force, your renewal price may still increase.

To make sure you get our best deal and to ascertain the most appropriate payment options for you and to protect you from fraud, some insurers use public and personal data from a variety of sources, including a credit reference agency, the Claims Underwriting Exchange (CUE) , Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud Theft Register (MIAFTR) and other organisations. We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. For compulsory classes of insurance cover, insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limit. For other classes of insurance advising and arranging is covered for 90% of the claim, without any upper limit. Further information about the compensation scheme is available from the FSCS. ils.


The laws of England and Wales govern this agreement and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
